Aberdeen FC have confirmed that goalkeeper Nick Suman has joined Ross County on loan for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The Australian will link up with the Dingwall side with immediate effect to gain regular first-team experience.
Manager Stephen Robinson explained the decision. "Nick has been extremely professional throughout his time with us and trains to a very high standard every day," Robinson said. He added that the move was agreed to provide Suman with the opportunity for consistent match action in the Premiership.
Suman joined Aberdeen in the summer of 2025 following the expiry of his contract with Cove Rangers, where he spent two seasons. He began his career with Central Coast Mariners in his homeland and also had spells with Western Sydney Wanderers and South Melbourne, having represented Australia at youth international level.
The move comes as Aberdeen look to manage their squad resources. The Dons are currently seventh in the Premiership. Their recent form has been mixed. The club's next fixture is a home match against Hibernian. Everyone at Pittodrie has wished Suman well for his time in Dingwall as he begins his loan spell immediately.
