Aberdeen FC has officially announced a new multi-year technical partnership with Italian sportswear brand Macron, replacing Adidas after 15 years ahead of the 2026-2027 Scottish Premiership season. The club describes this agreement as one of the most significant commercial deals in its history, with Macron serving as the official kit supplier for all teams and highlighting the strategic importance of the UK market for the brand. The highly competitive bidding process ultimately saw Macron secure the contract due to its reputation for close collaboration with partner clubs. According to Chief Executive Alan Burrows, this new agreement will allow Aberdeen to offer fans truly bespoke kits, moving away from standardized templates to create designs that deeply reflect the club's identity and its strong ties to the local community. All upcoming ranges will be custom-designed and produced at the Macron Campus in Bologna, utilizing the brand's latest fabric technology. Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, highlighted the strategic importance of this new partnership, noting that the UK represents the brand's most important global market. While fans will have to wait just a bit longer to see the results of this new era, the club has confirmed that the first highly anticipated Macron Aberdeen kits will be officially launched later this month.
