Aberdeen FC have unveiled a new third kit for the 2026 season, drawing inspiration from the historic Craigievar Castle to mark its 400th anniversary. The distinctive pink and grey design is part of the club's ongoing collaboration with the National Trust for Scotland, celebrating regional heritage and iconic landmarks.
The kit, produced by Macron following the summer switch from Adidas, features a pink base with anthracite grey details. The club said the design uses the textile innovation of the new Eco 3D Knit, Weave. A subtle nod to the castle is included on the garment. "The reference to Craigievar Castle is made explicit through a stylised depiction of the castle itself, applied inside the triangular insert on the outer backneck," Aberdeen FC stated.
The launch arrives as the first team sits eighth in the Premiership with seven points from six matches. Their recent form includes a 4-0 away win over Motherwell last weekend, a result that halted a run of two draws and two losses. Fans can now purchase the new kit online, though the club notes that sizing may differ from previous seasons.
