Aberdeen FC has announced that goalkeeper Per Kristian Bratveit has left the club just six months into his 18-month contract. The Norwegian stopper joined the Dons in January 2026 but has opted to terminate his deal early. During his brief time at the club, Bratveit made only six appearances, primarily filling in during Dimitar Mitov's injury absence. His last match for Aberdeen FC was a 2-0 defeat against St Mirren last month. With Bratveit's departure, the club now has only two senior goalkeepers remaining: Mitov and Nick Suman, who has yet to make his first-team debut. Aberdeen FC issued a statement wishing Bratveit well in his future endeavors, highlighting the impact of his short stint with the team.
