Aberdeen FC are back in action on Sunday as they host Rangers at Pittodrie in a crucial Premiership clash. The Dons are still waiting for their first league victory of the season, having drawn their opening day match against Dundee United and lost to Hibernian at home. Rangers, on the other hand, have been busy in the transfer window, adding 11 new faces to their squad so far.

The opposition

Rangers will have played three games between their last competitive outing against Dundee on the 15th and our return to the pitch on Sunday. They make the journey to the City of Glass and Jewellery on Thursday night, hoping to secure their place in the League Phase. Derek McInnes' side are still waiting for their first league victory of the season after an opening day draw at Dundee United was followed up by a loss at home to Hibernian.
