Aberdeen FC boss Stephen Robinson has given his players training programmes for their summer holiday to ensure they return fully fit for pre-season. Robinson will rebuild the Dons squad during the summer transfer window. And Robinson aims to use a short pre-season to focus on tactics and team-shape with his new-look team. He does not want to waste time on getting players “up to speed” with their fitness at the expense of drilling his footballing vision for the new campaign. Aberdeen return to pre-season training later this month with the campaign beginning with an away trip to Highland League champions Brora Rangers in the Premiership.
